RT06: A Resources and Grants Tool Kit for Health Care Equity and Disparities Research

Description/Outline: Research on healthcare disparities is crucial for identifying, understanding and addressing the underlying factors contributing to inequalities in healthcare access, quality, and outcomes among different population groups. This roundtable will discuss the resources and grants available to study the various dimensions of race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, gender and geographical location in urogynecology.  We will also highlight current and future trends and patterns in healthcare disparities that need to be analyzed in order to improve health outcomes in urogynecology. Participants will be given an opportunity to share their ideas and experiences and strategize with other participants to develop projects that could lead to a robust grant application.
