Resident
Boston University School of Medicine/Boston Medical Center
Sally Tarabey, MD is a third year OB/GYN resident at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA. As a New Jersey native, Sally graduated from Seton Hall University with a BS in Biology, secondary major in philosophy, and chemistry minor. It was during her undergraduate studies that she developed a deep passion for science and the humanities, motivating her to pursue a career in medicine. She completed her medical education at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. It was through leadership opportunities such as serving as president of her school's Association of Wmen Surgeons chapter and the wonderful mentorship that she received throughout her education that ultimately led Sally to pursue a specialty in OB/GYN. She continues to learn by also engaging in various research projects and has developed interests in female sexual dysfunction, racial and socioeconomic disparities within gynecologic care, and surgical outcomes. This ultimately resulted in her discovery and love of the field of urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. Sally is looking forward to this next chapter as she hopes to pursue a fellowship in URPS this upcoming application season. In her spare time, Sally enjoys yoga, hiking, and traveling to new countries.
