Becky Parr, PT, DPT, DHSc, CAPP-OB, OCS is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Admissions at the Hanover College Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Hanover, IN. She is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Dr. Parr completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Dayton in 2011 and her Doctor of Health Science from the University of Indianapolis in 2021.
Dr. Parr teaches a variety of courses at Hanover College, ranging from fundamentals to specialized topics such as health promotion and fitness management, advanced diagnostics, and mindful patient management. Her expertise extends beyond the classroom through her private practice, where she provides mobile physical therapy services for patients with pelvic health and orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Parr's dedication to the profession is reflected in her active involvement with the Ohio Physical Therapy Association (OPTA), where she contributes as a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and serves as a Delegate for the Ohio Delegation. Additionally, she holds the position of Assistant Chair of the Academy of Pelvic Health Research Committee. Her research and clinical practice emphasize the integration of evidence-based approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes in pelvic health.
