Dr. Jon F. Pennycuff is a board-certified urogynecologist and an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He serves as the associate program director for the Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin and the director of the IAI URPS rotation for fourth year medical students. He started the Perineal Laceration Clinic at the University of Wisconsin, the only clinic dedicated to the treatment of patients who have sustained a complex or high order birth trauma in the state of Wisconsin. He completed fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Medstar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University School of Medicine in July 2021. His current research interests include supporting the young surgeon and rural-urban urogynecologic healthcare disparities in the state of Wisconsin.
