David Sheyn, MD, is Associate Professor of Urology and Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University and Division Director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University Hospitals Urology Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Sheyn completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology and three-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery in the Department of Urology, both at University Hospitals. His research interests include the application of artificial intelligence methodology to diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of pelvic floor disorders and the determination of the etiology of overactive bladder syndrome phenotypes. He is a graduate of the UrogynCREST program and is the recipient of several public and industry sponsored grants totalling over $10 million.
