Dr. Lauren Caldwell is an Assistant Professor in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Texas Dell Medical School University Physicians Group, where she serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship. She completed her fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Caldwell attended the University of Virginia for medical school after earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance with an oboe focus from the University of Georgia. Dr. Caldwell has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles, a book chapter, and presented her work at national and international conferences. Her research interests include sexual function, social and cultural barriers to care and value-based care.
