Michelle Y. Morrill, M.D., is an Associate Editor for Urogynecology, the official journal of the American Urogynecologic Society, and has been a member of the journal’s editorial team since 2010. She is also a frequent peer reviewer for other gynecology journals and leads the peer review curriculum for the Kaiser Oakland/UCSF FPMRS fellowship program.
Dr. Morrill earned a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Colgate University then attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons for her Medical Degree. Her residency in Ob/Gyn was at Thomas Jefferson University before she moved to the west coast for fellowship in FPMRS at University of California San Diego. Her additional training includes Quality Improvement and Lean/Six Sigma and her medical interests include hospital systems based quality improvement. She is currently the Surgical Quality Lead for Kaiser San Francisco Hospital where she practices as a urogynecologist and a member of the gender affirming surgery team.
