Jacqueline Kikuchi is a urogynecologist in the Department of Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetrics at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the AT Augusta Military Medical Center. She received her Medical Doctorate in 2015 from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her internship and residency in 2019 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She then completed fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After completing her fellowship in 2022, Dr. Kikuchi joined the medical staff at Walter Reed and AT Augusta Military Medical Center. In spring 2023, Dr Kikuchi co-founded the Department of Defense's first transgender bottom surgery program, which is a multidisciplinary team consisting of plastic surgery, reconstructive urology, urogynecology, pelvic floor physical therapy, endocrinology, and case management. In less than one year, the team has completed eight penile inversion vaginoplasties and has evaluated over 50 transgender patients in the US Military. Dr Kikuchi is passionate about transgender health and advocating for the LGBTQI+ community within the US Military.
