David Rahn is a Professor, Dept. Ob/Gyn, Urogynecology (Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He completed fellowship training in Urogynecology in 2008. He is an active teacher and researcher with more than 80 peer-reviewed publications--both clinical / translational research and basic science research involving pelvic floor disorders. He is especially interested in the effects of vaginal estrogen on connective tissues and its impact on pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Rahn is an active member in both the American Urogynecologic Society (Board Member, 2019-2022) and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (Research Committee Chair 2016-2019).
