Celia Kucera, MD is a current PGY4 resident at George Washington University. She will be starting Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in August 2025 at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She is originally from Charlotte, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate training, earning a BS in Biology with minors in chemistry and music. She then received her medical degree at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. She has a clinical interest in global medicine and has done international work in India and Peru. She is grateful for the support of her mentors on the road to fellowship, Dr. Charelle Carter-Brooks and Dr. Peter O'Hare.
