Thomas Sullivan is a distinguished leader with over 30 years in the continuing education sector, focusing on the creation and implementation of clinically relevant educational programs. He serves as Senior Vice President at Clinical Education Alliance, where he oversees regional association partnerships and paid continuing education efforts. Sullivan founded the CME Coalition, working closely with Congress on the Sunshine Act and with CMS on Open Payments. He is also the editor of Policy and Medicine (www.policymed.com), a respected source for in-depth analysis of compliance and regulatory issues impacting the healthcare industry. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, he established the COVID-19 State Medical Society Collaborative, bringing together 30 state medical societies to disseminate vital COVID-19 information.
