Mirna Nashed is a third-year medical student at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. In 2021, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Macaulay Honors College at Queens College, CUNY, with minors in Sociology, Chemistry, and Psychology. Before entering medical school, Mirna worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Experiential Education Office at Queens College and served as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Biology Department. During her medical studies, she has taken up a concentration in Justice, Equity, Diversity, Advocacy, and Inclusion (JEDAI). Her academic interests include OBGYN, health literacy, medical education, mentorship, and women's health advocacy.
