My expertise lies in bioengineering, biomechanics, and computational modeling, specifically of female pelvic tissues. I'm currently a postdoc in Dr. Marianna Alperin's lab studying the impact of pregnancy, childbirth, and injury on female pelvic floor skeletal muscle structure and function. I have a PhD in Bioengineering ('21, University of Pittsburgh) and my dissertation work involved computational modeling of anatomic variation and biomechanics of the female pelvic floor related to stress urinary incontinence, pregnancy, and childbirth.
