Rebecca Borneman received her bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at UCLA in 2014, graduating with Latin and College Honors. She then spent two years teaching as part of the program Teach for America. She received her MD from UCSF and spent an additional year pursuing research receiving several awards and graduating with a distinction in research. She is currently a chief resident in OBGYN at Yale New Haven Hospital and serves as an Academic Chief Resident. She is considering a career as a generalist or pursuing further training in Urogynecology.
