Erin Alston is a Senior Manager on the American College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists (ACOG) Health and Payment Policy team, focused on issues surrounding Medicare, commercial payers, and quality measurement as it relates to physician reimbursement. She works directly with agency and payer officials to improve access to high-quality, affordable health care for women and those seeking women's health services. Erin has previously worked at the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery as part of their team developing and maintaining quality measures for their in-house clinical data registry. She graduated from the University of California Irvine with bachelors degrees in biological sciences and political science and masters degrees in biomedical science policy and epidemiology from Georgetown University and George Washington University, respectively.
